Before launching a website, some companies or web developers will pay people to test websites. They typically would want you to give them feedback on your user experience. You only need to know how to use a website and provide useful feedback. The testing doesn’t take long to do. While testing jobs may be outsourced to web testing companies, you could work through a freelancer site, such as Fiverr. These companies offer website testing jobs: Amazon Mechanical Turk, Testbirds, TryMyUI, Userfeel, Userlytics, UserTesting, and UserZoom.
2. Transcription
As a writer, you’re likely fairly fast at typing. Writers are generally also good listeners. This skill set can be a good match for doing transcription work. For transcription work, you’d be listening to and transcribing (typing) audio files, such as interviews, lectures, legal reports, medical reports, or podcasts.

If you live anywhere else, you could consider renting space for people to park their RV overnight. As RVers travel from one location to another, they often need a spot for one night while they’re between destinations. Not all RVers care to spend the night in a Walmart parking lot or a truck stop. Besides your own blog, you could write for other blogs or write online articles for websites. These gigs typically don’t pay well, but it can add some extra income. Also, consider contacting companies or individuals with websites and offer your services as a writer, editor, proofreader, or researcher. In addition to freelance jobs, you can find on Fiverr, Indeed, or Upwork, you could find writing gigs on these sites.
